EU roaming does not apply in the Philippines. German contracts usually charge data here by the day or by the megabyte, or block it entirely. An eSIM for the Philippines is the usual way, without surprises on the bill.

The Philippines is also included in these packages if you are visiting several countries:
Data package on, calls as at home: with Phonestar you take your German mobile or landline number along in the app; calls and texts run over the eSIM data.
Choose destination and pack, pay. No plan, no subscription.
Your eSIM arrives by email, usually within minutes, and is in your account.
Install on Wi-Fi before you travel, switch it on for mobile data at your destination.
If the allowance runs out, top up: on the same eSIM, up to 9 times, in your Phonestar account. You get access to the account with your first eSIM.
With a Phonestar plan your German number lives in the Phonestar Connect app. Over the eSIM's mobile data you can call abroad without roaming charges and receive texts, including codes from your bank. You can then also book mobile data right in the app.
See plansYour phone must support eSIM and must not be network-locked. Dial *#06#: if an EID appears, your phone supports eSIM. Check the network lock on iPhone under Settings › General › About › Network Provider Lock (“No SIM restrictions”), on Android under Settings › Connections or Network › SIM cards. A network-locked phone does not accept another provider's eSIM.
Depending on the pack, at installation of the eSIM or at the first connection at your destination; the pack shows which. So install the eSIM shortly before you travel, while you are still on Wi-Fi.
A deleted eSIM usually cannot be installed again, not even on another device; the pack is then used up. Only delete the eSIM once you no longer need it, and simply switch it off at home. If it has happened anyway, contact support.
Yes. You can buy up to 10 eSIMs per pack, one per device. All eSIMs are sent to your email address, and each person installs their eSIM on their own phone.
